Patrick McNamara

McNamara P 2017 70wMr. McNamara joined Palm Healthcare Foundation in 2017 as President and CEO. He has spent the past 25 years in the nonprofit health and human services sector, including 18 years with Community Partners where he also served as President and CEO. He is an experienced social worker, administrator, and developer of resources in multiple arenas. Mr. McNamara is licensed in Clinical Social Work with 15 years of management experience and currently leads the Senior Leadership Team at the foundation. He holds a Master of Social Work from Tulane University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Franciscan University, and he attended Georgetown University for three years. To build on his leadership skills, he completed an executive fellowship at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government from 2012-13 called Achieving Excellence. He is an active advocate on child, family and community issues, as well as on health and housing issues. He is an alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County (Class of 2008), a current Officer on the Board of the Florida Community Loan Fund, and an adjunct professor at the graduate School of Social Work at Florida Atlantic University. He received the prestigious Leadership Excellence Award in 2013 from Leadership Palm Beach County, as well as the Alumni Citizenship Award from Franciscan University in 2014. Born and raised in New Orleans, he is a Saints fan, avid reader, and proud father of three children.
