Executive Director, Miami Homes for All


ibarra-b-2013-70wBobbie Ibarra is Executive Director of Miami Homes for All, whose mission is to promote collaborative efforts to prevent and end homelessness in South Florida. Prior to joining Miami Homes for All, Bobbie served as Vice President / General Manager of Jungle Island. Previously, Ms. Ibarra was the Executive Director of the Independent Living Initiative, founding President of Our Kids, as well as in leadership roles with Miami-Dade County and Citibank. Ms. Ibarra holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology / Education from Temple University. She is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Florida, and community involvement includes serving on the the National Funders Together To End Homelessness Board of Directors and the Florida Community Loan Fund Board of Directors. She is the Founding Chair of the Miami-Dade County Affordable Housing Trust Fund and was instrumental in establishing the Miami Housing Solutions Task Force in 2016. She also served on the Miami-Dade Community College Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors and several committees of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center, and the Board of Trustees of the Palmer Trinity School. Always staying in touch with her cultural community, in the past she served on the Board of Directors of PROFESA- Puerto Rican Professional Association and also served as a Founding member of the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of South Florida.
