Community Development Loan Officer

williams-v-photo-70wValerie joined the Florida Community Loan Fund team in 2013, but is not a newcomer to Northeast Florida. A native of Jacksonville, Valerie has in excess of 5 years’ experience in community and economic development as a Project Manager with the City of Jacksonville and 15+ years’ experience in banking that encompassed a number of diverse roles to include commercial and consumer underwriting and credit administration. As an Underwriter for the Business Banking Unit of M&I Bank, Valerie supported the development of Loan Committee packages for small and mid-sized firms valued in excess of $100 million. Valerie’s role at FCLF is to support North Florida markets with technical assistance and loans/lines of credit targeting non-profit, mission-based borrowers interested in the Loan Fund’s various programs. Valerie holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of North Florida and is a recent graduate from the University of Phoenix with a Masters of Business Administration.
