Community Development Loan Officer
As Community Development Loan Officer, Ms. Ross underwrites community and economic development loans for Florida Community Loan Fund's commercial loan programs and provides support to FCLF's New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program. Ms. Ross also provides technical assistance to borrowers.
Ms. Ross joined Florida Community Loan Fund in 1996, bringing 16 years of banking experience. For 11 years she was a regional loan administrator for NationsBank (now Bank of America) and AMRESCO, responsible for managing a department of up to 30 employees and a portfolio of multi-million dollar real estate loans. She also has 5 years' experience in bank internal auditing, beginning her career in North Carolina, after graduating with a BS in Finance from Florida State University.
During her time with FCLF, Ms. Ross has closed and administered over 150 loans, with responsibilities including preparation or review of loan documents, coordination of loan closing activities, and supervision of the portfolio management function. In addition to co-creating FCLF's first in-house loan policies and its first in-house loan documents, Ms. Ross also previously managed a number of diverse functions and projects for FCLF including bookkeeping, payroll, newsletter and annual report production, board support, compliance, and general office management. Now in her position as a Community Development Loan Officer, covering counties throughout Central and Northwest Florida, she delivers loan capital to nonprofits and mission-driven for-profit developers of affordable housing, supportive housing, and facilities to meet FCLF's mission.
