Marilyn Drayton is Community Relationship Senior Manager for the Florida and Southeast Region for Wells Fargo. She has responsibility for the Florida and Southeast Region, including over 640 Store locations and 5 regional markets. In her role, she manages the company's community development strategic initiatives, programmatic activities and market reputation risk. She works closely with line of business executives and market leaders influencing positive outcomes and solutions impacting affordable housing, neighborhood stabilization/revitalization, community lending and investments, relationship management with key community stakeholders and issues impacting the financial services industry. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she served as the South Region Group Manager for Community Development at TD Bank with responsibilities for the Carolinas and Florida Regions. She was integral in managing the bank's NMTC, LIHTC and CDFI lending and investment efforts. She also served as a Director and Vice President of TD Community Development Corporation and managed the bank's NMTC Advisory Board. In this role, she was integral in the bank securing multiple NMTC allocation awards totaling $325 million.She has received several distinguished awards and leadership recognition, including an Affordable Housing Leadership Award, Community Development Award and the Mayor's Key to the City of Columbia. Additionally, she has presented and served on various panels at industry conferences relative to CRA and community development best practices. She is active in her community and serves as a member of various professional boards and industry committees including the Florida Housing Coalition, the Florida Alliance of Community Development Corporations, Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation, Black Business Investment Fund, past President of the SC Association of Community Development Corporations and the Affordable Housing Coalition of South Carolina. She is a longtime supporter and volunteer for the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity and Women In Local Leadership (WILL) of the North Florida United Way.
