TCCH West ribboncutting 430wTreasure Coast Community Health recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of its newest location, the West Health Center, in Vero Beach. The new location, designed to provide modern, comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages, expands access to medical, dental, and other services for families in Indian River County.

“Our goal has always been to make healthcare easy for families and seniors,” said Vicki Soulé, CEO of TCCH. “Our new West Health Center was built with convenience and high quality in mind, so patients can receive the care they need without unnecessary delays or extra steps.”

The West Health Center expands TCCH’s commitment to providing accessible, coordinated services in one place. Patients will find:

  • Family medicine, pediatrics, dental, and mental/behavioral health services
  • On-site pharmacy (opening early 2026), lab, EKG, and x-ray
  • Extremely affordable prescriptions exclusively for TCCH patients

The facility features separate waiting areas for adults and children, creating a welcoming environment tailored to each patient’s needs. With experienced providers and a supportive staff, TCCH delivers trusted, personalized care at every visit. From managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure to keeping up with preventive care, patients benefit from timely, coordinated services. Insurance is accepted at TCCH, including Medicare and Medicaid. A sliding fee discount program, based on income and family size, is also available to ensure healthcare remains affordable for everyone in the community.

With financing through Florida Community Loan Fund and the New Markets Tax Credit program, TCCH purchased and completed a substantial renovation of an existing building to provide 17,000 square feet of new space. Despite expansion, healthcare needs remain high in TCCH’s service area. Indian River County has a higher-than-average rate of residents with limited access to healthy foods and experiences a 15% severe housing problem rate. The New Markets Tax Credit program is a critical component of the organization’s capital stack to complete the project and better the healthcare of the community; specifically its low-income individuals. Without NMTC, TCCH would rely on fundraising, potentially causing delays that disproportionately impact low-income and vulnerable community members, potentially worsening their health outcomes and increasing reliance on emergency care.

“Our patients are working, parenting, and planning — often all at once,” added Soulé. “At TCCH, we take care of your health so you can focus on what matters most in your life.”
