FCLF Nominated for Chase Community Giving Program

Through the utilization of social media networks, the Chase Community Giving program has already directed more than $20 million toward non-profit organizations nationwide, putting the power to bring positive change across the nation into the hands of those who need it most. The Fall 2012 round of the Chase Community Giving program will award $250,000 to the top eligible charity, and the remaining 195 top charities earn awards ranging from $10,000 through $100,000, for a total of $5 million in grants.

FCLF has, since 1996, provided financing to improve low-income communities throughout the state of Florida. Our total lending has had significant social impact: $114 million has been financed through 161 loans and 8 NMTC transactions, into projects totaling $528 million. This has provided 2,731 units of housing and 84 community facilities, creating or retaining 4,631 jobs. Our borrowers include non-profit and for-profit mission-focused developers, housing authorities, a wide range of social service organizations and communit health centers. Our investors and supporters include financial institutions, foundations, religious communities and orders of faith, corporations, federal and state government.
