FCLF Supports the Annual Southeast Institute on Homelessness & Supportive Housing as a Leader Sponsor
Florida Community Loan Fund is a Leader level Sponsor of the upcoming Southeast Institute on Homelessness & Supportive Housing, which will take place September 26-28, 2012, in Clearwater, Florida. The theme for this year's conference is Building Successful Communities: What's New? What's Working? What's Next?
FCLF's Director of Lending, Nelson Black, will be part of a workshop on Thursday, September 27, titled Acquiring Existing Affordable Housing, and Mr. Black will speak about funding resources for non-profit organizations. FCLF provides financing for affordable housing, as well as supportive housing and community and economic development, through its 3 lending programs: Community Development Fund, Florida Preservation Fund, and New Markets Tax Credit program.
FCLF will also have an exhibit at the Southeast Institute Conference. We invite attendees of the conference to stop by and chat with one of our staff and learn more about our organization and the impact we have throughout Florida. FCLF has been participating in the Florida Coalition for the Homeless and Florida Supportive Housing Coalition conferences for the past 9 years.

The Southeast Institute on Homelessness and Supportive Housing is an incredible opportunity of regional interest and impact convened by the Florida Coalition for the Homeless and the Florida Supportive Housing Coalition. The mission of the Institute is to expand the knowledge and capacity of stakeholders to improve the quality of life of homeless and at-risk individuals throughout the Southeastern United States. This is our sixth year of bringing together State and National experts who will share their knowledge and expertise to help professionals, administrators, government officials, advocates and others meet the challenge of providing quality, affordable, and accessible supportive housing. Each year the Institute has been a remarkable success as participants have indicated the plenary sessions and workshops exceeded their expectations and rivaled the events conducted at the national level.
