PolicyMap recently started a new webinar series called Mapchats. The series will continue this week with a webinar about Mapping Food Access. Sign up for the webinar to be held on April 22, 2015, at 2:00pm (EDT) to discover how Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), government agencies and other entities use data to increase access to healthy fresh food in their target areas. Hear from experts in the field who will tell their stories about how and why data and mapping are indispensable to their work around healthy food access. The panel will feature Robin Safley from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Jim Walker from the Florida Community Loan Fund, and Lance Loethen from The Reinvestment Fund.
Florida Community Loan Fund is a part of the ReFresh Initiative with The Reinvestment Fund and 3 other organizations. As part of our work with the ReFresh Inititative, Jim Walker will participate in the PolicyMap MapChats panel on April 22, 2015.
