Wells Fargo Offers Down Payment Assistance with NeighborhoodLIFT Program

08 November 2018

wells fargo logoTo support sustainable homeownership and advance neighborhood stability, the Wells Fargo NeighborhoodLIFT Program looks to the future by delivering down payment assistance and financial education to homebuyers in collaboration with NeighborWorks® America and local nonprofit organizations.

In Central Florida, Wells Fargo is partnering with Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation, a local nonprofit, to help make homeownership a reality with the NeighborhoodLIFT down payment assistance grant. Eligible households could receive a $15,000 grant to help buy a home in the counties of Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Lake. For those who qualify as military, veteran, surviving spouse; law enforcement, firefighter, emergency medical technician, or teacher, an additional $2,500 may be available.

To learn more, individuals should attend a NeighborhoodLIFT event to get information and verify eligibility for the program. Events in Central Florida take place November 30 and December 1, 2018, at the Doubletree Orlando at SeaWorld. Online registration for the event starts on November 14, 2018 at www.wellsfargo.com/lift.

Go to www.wellsfargo.com/lift for more details, including specific dates and times for the NeighborhoodLIFT event in your area and how to register to attend.
