Miami Beach Community Development Corporation seeks to enhance the quality and diversity of community life and achieve neighborhood revitalization through a comprehensive community development program that pursues and balances historic preservation and urban design, affordable housing and economic vitality and increasing job opportunity, and support for a diverse, eclectic and successful neighborhood social fabric. The organization works throughout Miami Beach and the region to preserve affordable housing and strengthen residential neighborhoods, to create increased economic opportunity and celebrate and extraordinary architectural and urban endowment, and to improve the quality of life for all those who live and work and visit the City.

Miami Beach CDC has obtained financing from the Florida Community Loan Fund for to projects to offer affordable elderly housing to residents of Miami Beach:

  • The Jefferson - 27 studios and one-bedroom units
  • The Aimee II - 18 one-bedroom units
