At Florida Community Loan Fund, being a part of Florida’s communities ‒ past, present, and future ‒ is what we do.
We are pleased to share the news that we are growing into even more Florida communities with a new FCLF Miami office, which opened in June.
Our organization’s strategic goals emphasize the importance of growing along with Florida’s population and needs. A priority for FCLF is to increase our geographic reach to new and current borrowers throughout the state.
FCLF provides financing and technical expertise to improve low income communities in areas such as safe, affordable housing… homeless & special needs facilities… education & healthcare facilities… commercial & retail space to encourage new local businesses… access to fresh, healthy foods. Over our first 20 years, FCLF has helped organizations in Florida achieve success and accomplish their missions through over 200 projects. With the new Miami office and our existing system of statewide offices, we look forward to helping even more projects succeed throughout Florida.
Florida Community Loan Fund’s Miami Office is in space provided by NHSSF, Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida. The South Florida CDC and other nonprofit organizations also have office space in this location.
FCLF has financed a wide range of projects in the Miami area, totaling $65.4 million in 51 projects. Having an office in Miami will help us to increase our impact as we continue to work with local organizations to build strong communities in the area.
"We’ve been lending in Miami for 20 years. Now we have a home here!" ‒ Jim Walker, FCLF South Florida Loan Officer
