HOMES, Inc. Celebrates with First Time Homeowner

01 May 2019

HOMES ribbon cutH.O.M.E.S., Inc. recently completed its first new construction home developed through the BMSC Infill Development Project, in partnership with Broward County and the Moss Construction and Florida Panthers Foundations. A ribbon cutting for the Fort Lauderdale home was held on April 29. The new homeowner is a single mother who was able to purchase the home with assistance from the Broward County First-Time Homebuyer’s program.

Florida Community Loan Fund provided a construction loan to H.O.M.E.S., Inc. for this and other affordable housing.

“This project wouldn’t have been possible without the construction loan from Florida Community Loan Fund.” – Bonnye Deese, Construction Projects Director, HOMES, Inc.
